The product

Catch My Wave helps you see people around you. Crossed paths are people whose Beats indicate the same real-world context as yours — about 300 metres, posted within about 30 minutes, in the last 24 hours. That is probable overlap, not verified time spent together. Beat-derived only, no background tracking, no distance shown. Beats are photos or short clips from around you, retrieved within about 1 kilometre. New today is about the last 3 hours; Earlier today is the rest of about 12 hours, then they leave the feed. No public time, area, exact pin, or movement history. Your Beats stay on your profile after they leave the feed. You may send a Wave from a Beat or from Crossed paths. If they catch it, you can chat. A Wave is not a match guarantee. Catching is always free. Discovering people you crossed paths with, receiving a Wave, and chatting after a catch are not paid features.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. You must use your own photos and a real profile. One person, one account.

Waves and Wave+

• Each day you get 3 free Waves (Asia/Kolkata date). Unused free Waves do not carry over.
• Wave packs (5 / 10 / 25 / 50 for ₹19 / ₹29 / ₹59 / ₹75) are one-time purchases. Those Waves never expire.
• Referral Waves never expire. Rewards only after a new person finishes profile setup, on a decreasing ladder (5, then 4, 3, 2, then 1 per friend). They still get 3 bonus Waves.
• Wave+ is a ₹149 30-day pass, not a subscription. It does not auto-renew. Buying again adds 30 days from the later of now or your current end date.
• While Wave+ is on you get 10 Waves each day, 5 Priority Waves each week, enhanced discovery (your profile is shown earlier on Nearby), and a Wave+ mark on your card.
• A Priority Wave is shown more prominently. After the weekly 5, further sends that week are ordinary. Priority does not guarantee a catch or a chat.
• Everyone spends daily Waves first, then referral Waves, then purchased Waves. Wave+ raises the daily grant to 10; it does not give unlimited sends.

Payments

Prices are in INR and charged through Cashfree Payments. You authorise Cashfree to collect the amount shown at checkout. Purchased Waves and Wave+ are digital goods delivered in-app. See the Refund Policy — purchases are not refundable.

Acceptable use

Do not harass, impersonate, spam, scrape, or use the app for anything illegal. No under-18 contact. No fake photos or verification abuse. We may hide profiles, limit Waves, or close accounts that break these rules. You can block or report someone in the app.

Location and safety

Nearby is people whose last Beat was actually around yours. Meet in public if you meet at all. We are not a party to any in-person meeting and are not responsible for other users’ conduct.

Your content

You keep rights in your photos, Beats, and messages. You give us a licence to host and show them so the product can work. Do not post content you do not have the right to use. Beats you share are shown with your name in the feed for about 12 hours.

Accounts

You can delete your account in Profile. That removes your profile, photos, Beats, Waves, chats, and wallet. We may suspend accounts that harm the community or the service.

Availability

We aim to keep Catch My Wave running but do not promise uninterrupted service, a certain number of people nearby, or that any Wave will be caught.

Liability

To the extent Indian law allows, Catch My Wave is provided as-is. ispati is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for what other users say or do. Our total liability for a paid purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction.
